Town of Red Hook Town Board
Special Meeting
June 28, 2005
A special meeting of the Red Hook Town Board was held Tuesday
June 28, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. with the following in attendance:
Supervisor – Marirose Blum Bump
Councilman – James Ross
Councilwoman – Sue Crane
Councilwoman – Jean Bordewich
Councilman – Harold Ramsey
Town Clerk – Margaret E. Doty
Rhinebeck resident John MacDonald who was present suggest that the Town consider
doing more clustering and vertical building of homes giving people the ability
to walk for all their needs using cars less.
The Town Board thanked him for his input.
Motion by Supervisor Blum Bump, seconded by Councilwoman Bordewich that the Town
Board go into Executive Session to discuss the condemnation of Central Hudson.

Councilman Ross - Yes
Councilwoman Crane - Yes
Councilwoman Bordewich - Yes
Councilman Ramsey - Yes
Councilman Ramsey felt there was no need to go into Executive Session as the
public had already been informed regarding the status of the Town and Central
Hudson.
Motion by Councilwoman Bordewich, seconded by Councilwoman Crane opening the
special meeting at 7:21 p.m.
Both Councilman Ramsey and Councilwoman Crane wanted the following questions
answered before there was a public hearing.
Cost of legal fees
What is the process
What is the time table
What is the plan for Rec. Park
Is there a need
Motion by Councilwoman Bordewich, seconded by Supervisor Blum Bump and carried
that a Public Hearing be held July 27, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall for
public comments on the possible purchase through Eminent Domain some or all land
owned by Central Hudson in the Town of Red Hook between Route 9G and Williams
Road.

Motion by Councilwoman Bordewich, seconded by Councilman Ramsey and carried the
meeting adjourned 7:30 p.m.
