Supervisor Blum Bump asked Councilwoman Bordewich to discuss the appointment
of the Grant Consultant.
Councilwoman Bordewich explained that in March the Town requested proposals
for professional Grant Consultant services to assist the Town Board in grant
research and writing services on an as needed basis. Three proposals were
submitted and interviews were held by Councilman Ramsey, Councilwoman
Bordewich and Deputy Supervisor O'Neill.
Shilbless Associates, Linda Keeling and Victor Cornelius were those who
submitted the proposals and we went with Victor Cornelius who we felt would
know what grants were available and looking out for us on a regular basis.
This would be for a six (6) month period and his cost would be $6,025.00.
Councilwoman Crane felt he should get a percentage of the grant applied for
not be paid to search out grant.
Councilman Ramsey said he understood that you couldn't do that any more but he
would try to find out.
Councilwoman Carne said she would like to see how the committee valued each
proposal.
Motion by Supervisor Blum Bump, seconded by Councilwoman Bordewich and carried
unanimously that we close the meeting and go into Executive Session to discuss
Central Hudson Land Purchase and Dutchess County Real Property at 8:10 p.m.
Motion by Supervisor Blum Bump, seconded by Councilwoman Bordewich and carried
meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
