Mission Statement

The mission of the Red Hook Senior Services Committee is to serve as a resource for assessing the needs of the senior community, gathering information regarding how to address those needs and promoting the social, economic and health related services which impact upon the safety, independence and well-being of seniors.

RED HOOK & TIVOLI SENIOR PICNIC
Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 12:00 Noon 
Tivoli Recreation Park

Red Hook & Tivoli residents over the age of 60 are invited to this annual free chicken barbeque sponsored by the Office for the Aging. There is a $4 charge for persons under the age of 60 or non-residents.  Proof of residency and reservations are required and can be made by calling 486-2555.


Learn How to Prepare for Local Emergencies

Leisure Program for Seniors - Red Hook Rec Park

The Recreation Park Commission and the Senior Services Committee of Red Hook are sponsoring a leisure program for senior citizens at the Red Hook Recreation Park which will be held each Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. The first program will be a walk on May 5, 2010. If the weather is inclement, the program will be cancelled for that week. If you wish to attend, please go to the north entrance of the rec park on Fruitbud Lane, off Linden Avenue and meet at the park Pavilion. For further information, please contact John Kuhn at 758-4625.
